The Germans fought from the begining of the war until the end. If you collect British, you need German opponents, if you collect USSR, you need German opponents, if you collect USA, you need German opponents. Late war, mid war or early war, you need Germans.

Reasons both style and substance that the Germans are popular. The Germans also had many types of troops and armed units and all participated in combat. Regular conscripts, highly motivated political troops, foreign troops, low tech and high tech troops.

I got some FAA Germans in the mail today. They included paratroopers and regular army. They had men with assault rifles, hand held anti-aircraft missile launchers, wire guided anti-tank rockets, and other high tech weapons that Western armies would not field for another 20 years after the war.

During my research on the Battle of Berlin I have identified at least 90 different organizations with armed members in Berlin at the time. Each of those organizations had different uniforms and equipment and then each one had variations within their organizations. HaT could do 180 boxes of WWII Germans an not cover them all.
