Nice dragoons from Sander and Tom. To 5th Prussian Dragoons:
In 1806 the Ansbach-Bayreuth regiment was renamed "the Queen´s". Facing color was dark crimson. This "holster decoration" had each trooper, officers in silver. This insignia on the saddle cloth and holster flaps is the Order of the Black Eagle, granted the regiment for its splendid charge at Hohenfriedberg in June, 1745 (SYW).
The regimental lace of the saddle cloth and on the holster was white lace, in the middle light blue.
I also like the trumpeteers "swallows nests" but i miss the lace trim on his coat.... |
