to anybody who served in p-3 from 79-83 how the hell r u? im still in stockton northern cal but i get down south every now and then. seems i left a female down there with a little p-3er when i left and didnt know about her for quite a few years.we r in contact now and things r good i even found out im a grandpa now. what a trip. i have been down to el toro and it has changed so damm much, no more orange groves around the base just cement and wharehouses **** there is even a fwy going right thru the base where the chow hall used to be the front gate is still there along with the gaurd shack but old paint dirt, & time make it look far different then it was. i must admit when i seen el toro for the 1,st time in 23 years i was shocked to realize this old deserted place was once a important part of our national defense and a site of some damm good memories. well thats enough for now i will upload some pictures soon and anybody want to shoot the bull my number is (209)808-2345 hope to hear from some of my old buddies you were all a important part of my life back then and still think of you guys alot later cpl M.G.
