Local band Legacy

Has anybody on this site heard about the group of Newbridge boys in a band called Legacy? I'm sure some of you have seen the big van they have driving around with the bands' name and the members photos on it. The link for the bands website is on here if you have not seen it already. Well they are in with a chance of going somewhere. They are going to have a song played on reddragon fm (97.4 and 103.2fm)on Thursday 5th June around 8.40pm. They are in a competition with a prize of recording studio time so they can record more new songs. You can vote for them as many times as you like by going to www.musiccontrolradio.co.uk and selecting the upload album link (there is a picture of a guitar above it). You will see the bands name at the bottom of the small list. Support the band working to bring a good name to our community. You have up till 8pm on Friday to vote for them.

It doesn't end there either. On the 22nd of this month the boys are playing in the Carling Academy in London on the main stage. This is a major professional music venue. They are playing original material in a professional showcase in front of top record companies and producers. Anything could happen. They are even putting a free bus on to take people who want to support them there but you have to pay for tickets which are around £8.

Whether you go with them or stay at home show some support for the boys who take pride in saying we are from Newbridge!
