Pennar House
Hello, I am looking for any information regarding Pennar House (as it was, in days gone by). My Great-Grandfather Brynley Hopes was born and raised there with his family. His Father, John Hopes was a mining engineer and I believe, a Weslyan Methodist Minister. I understand that when John Hopes died in 1930, the family sold Pennar House and his widow, Sarah Jane Hopes (nee Rees) moved to a small holding in Pentwynmawr. I am desperately seeking a picture of Pennar House, and would appreciate any help offered. Many thanks Christopher Partridge |

I am not sure if the wheatstones (i am not sure if you spell the name like this)lived there at one time. Anthony, the son, lives in rogerstone on the housing estate built near morrisons. It is worth a try! |
