I spoke to Sonya yesterday morning and she is fine - the cyclone has not affected them, but of course, it presents both a huge need and a potentially even bigger opportunity if the ruling government does open up the borders to aid agencies. Please pray for such an opportunity as it could just be the crack in the door that allows God to move through those poised to make a difference in that sad and desperate country. Pray also for Ta Do Moo and his new wife Sonya and the other aid workers that they are safe and yes, that they can take advantage of any God-given opoortunities. If you are moved to send money, then please do it through the Cheltenham Bridge as we can channel it direct to Sonya's organisation rather than potentially getting it 'lost' going through more officially recognised channels. |
