This is the word that I was given at the beginning of Extreme Moments on Sunday.
In the beauty of this place, where You bring us to worship,
help us to turn our face, to Your mercy and grace.
to see the glory of Your name.
In the awesomeness of your glory
let us learn the simplicity of Your pure heart.
Open our eyes
Clear our ears
Bring forth a new song.
A song of innocence, of purity.
A song that brings out Your beauty.
We can try to wonder at Your plans for us, as we come to you.
But Your voice drowns out our thoughts and ideas
so that they would become only Yours.
Your thoughts, our thoughts
Your voice, our voice.
Your steps, our steps.
Side by side.
One by one, as if one.
Pure mind, pure heart.
We stand ready to start.
To find the path You have set.
That step of faith that brings us to Your heart.
Come now, the path is set.
Reach to Me and worship Me.
Let My spirit burn through this place,
bringing a new voice with the angels.#Hear Me as I call.
A new song, a new heart, a new fire, anew thing. |
