Open Range - Duvall & Costner!
While channel surfing last night, I ran across the best movie. Open Range with Robert Duvall & Kevin Costner, two of my favorites. Now, I understand this movie was born from the novel, Open Range Men. Got to find this book! Friends, we've got to speak up for the westerns. This movie is A+++ in my book.

Friends, I did find the book! The older version is called, The Open Range Men by Lauran Paine. Leisure Books has come out with a Mass Market Paperback version called, Open Range by Lauran Paine. I found a hardback copy at my local library. Joy!

There are a few times when swearing is used in the movie. Not all cowboys cussed, most probably did. The majority of directors, producers, and writers think that cowboys need to cuss. Well, I don’t like to hear the Lord’s name taken in vain. That’s the only part I didn’t like, other than that—I love this movie. Yes, I do!
