Message:   Need help tracing Adin (Aden, Adam) H. KNAPP. He survived Andersonville only to seemingly "disappear" following discharge. Does anyone know of him and his fate?

Adin H. Knapp. (Adam, Aden) Co. A 4th Vermont. Paroled 2/27 or 2/28/65 at North East Ferry, North Carolina. Furloughed from Camp Parole, Annapolis, Maryland from 3/17/65 to 4/15/65 to go to Bennington, Vermont. Mustered out 7/13/65. Was 18 in 1861 (born about 1843) from Shaftsbury VT upon enlistment. No Middlesex record. No veteran's pension application at the National Archives. Not the Adin Knapp born in Ohio (father Charles Knapp). May be the Adin Knapp residing in Syracuse, New York, in 1870. Thanks
