Message:   I'd like to thank all who've contributed to our quest for more information on the Apollo projector - I'll gladly forward photos of this piece to those with interest in the hopes it will help to clarify some of the information you all have so diligently worked to acquire.

This particular model does indeed resemble to crescent moon shape and after pulling out lens, Excel Projection is inscribed upon the lens base. There also appear small stampings on the underside rim of the projector base with the letters 'PEMCO', which could possibly be the company that manufactured the actual body.

The photo appearing on the web site previously posted by Ken looks just like our model with the exception that our model only has "APOLLO" running vertically down the side of the body with no other markings/logos.

Again, thank you for your time and the research you've done. We greatly appreciate all your help.
