Message:   Well, the info concerning the date of 1961 was scetchy at best considering how late in the century it was. I never did see another reference made to it. I was hoping someone might find it useful in providing additional info.

The only thing I have come across lately is that there seem to be only three standard 8mm projectors made by Excel: 1). Apollo 500, 2). Super-8, 3). Excel P-63. Otherwise they seem to be heavy into 16mm machines- and from what I have read on some message boards, they were very cheaply made projectors (the 16mm). Don't know how well the 8mm were made.
