Adrianne loves animals. The he-goat I'm talking about here is only made of straw, but it's famous.
It is situated in the Swedish city of Gävle and is put up by the merchants every Christmas since the middle of the 60s. It has been burned down more than 30 times!!! Unfortunately the last time by an American. It has only survived Christmas Eve about four times!
On www.gavle.se/kamera_bocken/index2.asp you can watch it and guard it. In London you can put bets on which day it will burn. Hackers have already been into the website with the text "burn bockdjaeveln" which is a combination of English and Swedish and means "burn the bl--dy he-goat".
It arouses strong feelings. |
