Is anybody happy with El Rey??????
Hi All, I just wanted to say that I know we have all had problems and delays but I can honestly say that the we are very happy with our villa in phase 4. The bathroom is very small but overall the property has been built very well and I think that they all look lovely, and I know the English people that are living out there also think they are great. It is true that everything has taken so long, but on the bright side as least the value of the properties has risen! The biggest problem so far has to be the missing swimming pool....which is very annoying!!!! Maybe once everybody has the keys to their properties we could all look at a large group swimming pool built, sharing the cost, maybe the developer would give us an area where this could be built, due to the fact we were sold these properties with a promise of a pool??? I think if this issue was resolved the development would be a lovely place to holiday at. I will be out there for 2 weeks from 5/9/07 and I look forward to seeing any of my neighbours in El Rey. |

Hi Zoe, You are right that everything has taken too long and the pool is the cause of much annoyance and it must be terribly frustrating for those who are still waiting....but for those who have completed the finished product is excellent. We, too, are very pleased with our purchase and are looking to spending many a holiday there in the years to come. We really hope that in a year or two with everything sorted including a pool, we'll all look back and say that it was worth the wait and hassle. The forum has always been used for communicating progress (or a lack of it) and it has been really useful for us all. Let's hope that those still waiting for completion are not delayed too much longer and eventuallly we can all start using the forum for things more positive. |
