my name is Karen Bartush-Louder. My Dad served first as a seaman apprentice and then as an Electrician's Mate, Second Class, on the USS Truckee from January 1955-January 1959. I'm trying to put together a memory book from the USS Truckee for him for Christmas. I was hoping that some of the people my dad served with might see this and send him a message.
My Dad recently retired and is enjoying retirement and his grandkids and much deserved leisure time!!
